Kitty ears

[Gravy and Vicki]

Gravy is concerned because mom has been poking her ears and has lost most of the hair on them. I (Vikki) have been putting petroleum jelly on, check bg, and then put a little aloe on the tips. Gravy is sure mom is doing it wrong because her ears aren't looking very stylish right now. Any tips?

What color are the ears? I find that some cats's ears look bad and some do not. I have one cat w/black ears and other w/gray ears and they look good. I have and orange tabby and his ears look terrible. I had a brown tabby and his ears also looked bad.
May stop the aloe. I only apply little petrolatum before poking to get the blood to bead up.

I need to get a good pic of her. She's light gray with a little white and orange. Ears are gray though. I think that's a good idea with aloe. I thought it would help heal but she doesn't like it.
