Good Morning!
Kitty spent the night on the sunporch last night. She was upstairs in the bedroom and about mid evening she came downstairs and decided to move to the porch for the evening! This is a GOOD thing, as she has not been moving around much lately. I did take her outside this morning, and while she was VERY alert-- she did not walk around a lot. She ate okay last night and I left food with her overnight-- and this morning the bowl was EMPTY! I am going to check on the Aloe Vera juice (thanks Sophie) today and see if I can find it locally-- I live in a relatively small town so it might not be easily available! But, if I cannot find it, I will pick it up in Raleigh over the weekend and give it a try. She seems decent this morning. I am getting ready to give her the FINAL morning medicines. Does anyone think I should discontinue the Bupe and see how she does?! :shock: (this is a test, it is only a test...!!!)
It is a beautiful day in the Alley and I am taking the day off, so I will get her outside for some sun during the day! She loves to sunbathe!
Chewy saw the 60s for the first time that I have captured! This morning he checked in at 68. He looks at me like I am crazy when I test him now! Kind of like to say.....Mom, I am OTJ, would you quit poking me?! I am REALLY glad I adopted him!
For those of you asking, Sally (dog) is doing GREAT! She is on 12 units of N and her preshots are primarily in the high 100s to mid 200s!
She is very playful and at the moment there is NO sign of cataracts developing-- the major concern with diabetes in Dogs.
