Good Morning!
I caught Kitty eating again last night! She has actually eaten pretty decent the last couple of days. The appetite stimulant is due again tomorrow-- this time I am not skipping it! Whether she appears to need it or not, she is getting it! Kitty had a decent day yesterday and this morning she came to the kitchen to eat. After eating, she wanted go go outside-- so, I take this as a good sign, that at least she is not feeling worse. I am not convinced that she is any better, but at least she is getting around a little.
One thing that I have noticed with Kitty in the last couple of days--- she has developed a distinct odor in her head area. It is not her breath, but instead her "skin"??? I do not notice it in her body area below her neck, but it is very noticeable around her ears and the crown of her head. My local vet is coming by the house today, to see if it is a smell that she recognizes. I know that kidney disease can have an accompanying odor--but, I would think it would be on her breath. I am thinking it is a byproduct from the medicines she is taking and it is coming out in the pores of her skin. Anyway--- something is going on. I have a call into the Vet School Internalist to ask her opinion on this also. Any thoughts out there on this? Anyone Experience it?
Chewy is Good! He wants a Party! I told him maybe.....if he behaves!
I am going out to finish all of the yardwork I started yesterday, before the storms move in midday! I hope Blackie, the Snake, is not wanting to visit again Today!
Wishing Everyone a Great Day from the Alley........
