Good Morning!

Well, it happened AGAIN! This morning at Kitty's amps (tid) she was 113...ugggg. I waited and retested at +11 and she had zoomed to 523. I shot 2.8 and will try to juggle her shot time back into the medicine rotation. I worked her back into her tid schedule yesterday, but so much for that. Yesterday she was above 500 at every preshot. She is eating so sporadically and I am having to entice her with gravy foods and hi carb treats at times, so it is not easy keeping the numbers regulated. She ate very little this morning, but today was her morning to receive the appetite stimulant. So, I gave that before I left, hopefully she will be Hungry when I get back home. She is so frail and skinny, but she does not appear in any pain. She has really declined in the last two months-- it happened very fast.

Chewy and the rest of the gang are Good!

Please send good Vibes to Kitty! She has always been so special to me and it is so disheartening to see her in such a declined state. I am trying to accept that I am doing all I can to help her, but it is hard. I am holding out hope, that maybe she will get stronger soon.

Wishing Everyone a Great Day from Diabetic Alley......

Oh Kim, I wished I lived nearby so I could come over and give you a big hug. I bet you are just exhausted with all the stress and schedule changes. :YMHUG: :YMHUG: I am so sorry you are on this roller coaster with Kitty. I hope the appetitie stimulant works and she starts eating again.

You are doing a great job with Kitty! She will get stronger with time. I think it's just like a human it takes time to recover from a bad illness.

Here's to a wonderful day for you in the Alley. :YMHUG:

I'm so sorry you and Kitty are on this roller coaster ride. I hope the appetite stimulant does its job and she's ready to chow down when you get home! I KNOW this is hard on you, but you truly are doing everything possible for her and she knows it.

(((hugs))) Kim. I know it is so hard to see Kitty in such a frail state, and I know how much you love her.
She loves you too and knows you are trying everything you can do to help. You are a trooper Kim, with all you have gone through lately with Kitty. As I said before, I greatly admire you and you should be the poster girl for diabetic pet care.
Even though I know you are trying to be patient, it hurts our hearts so much when they are feeling poorly.
I hope the appetite stimulant works today and Kitty will eat well tonight and that you will be able to get back on track with the shot/med schedule.
Still continuing reiki and prayers to Kitty (and you).

More healing and eating vibes comin’ your way from the Ghetto.
Kitty and bean hugs comin’ too! :YMHUG: cat_pet_icon :YMHUG:

Keeping you in my prayers for strength and for kitty to be having good days ahead!

Oh, Kim I'm sorry it's so rough with Kitty - she'll start eating with the medicine and than you can put some weight on her - I hope that will help. You''ve been working so hard at this - hang in there.
Sending all sorts of purring good thoughts.
