Good Morning!
Kitty is still liking food! Until her crash, I never left food out-- her feeding regiment was very strict and she only got food with insulin. But, that wasn't so bad-- she got a can every 8 hours. But, since she has been sick and appears to be losing weight daily, I leave food out all of the time. I know this is skewing her BGs, but at this point.....I don't care! But, she woke me up twice last night licking the bowl and wanting more! So, for now...she is eating! I skipped the appetite stimulant last night on advice from the vet, but I will give it to her at the first sign of inappetance. It really is day to day with her, yesterday I thought she had a good day. Today, even though she is eating, she doesn't seem as alert and active. Hopefully, as the day progresses she will feel better. Her BGs are much better the last few days, this morning's amps was 301-- I shot 2.5. I am happy that her BGs are lowering-- maybe, a sign that she is not in as much pain. She has gone downhill so much in the last 6 weeks, it is hard to believe. Hopefully, if the Ptitis resolves, she will gain some weight and feel better. That is my hope.
Chewy is ruling the house! He checked in this morning at 67-- only the second reading in the 60s that I have recorded. At the present time, Kitty and He are on the sunporch.....wondering where the Sun Is!
My to do list today includes looking for the Aloe Vera juice. I hope I can find it!
Wishing Everyone A Great Day from Diabetic Alley......
