Kittens on raw food?

Is there any reason the kittens shouldn't be transitioned to raw food diet? I looked into it with Calypso, but for her (on chemo) it wasn't a great idea. I do like the idea of it and my local pet food store carries nature's variety raw. They pressure sterilize the food, so I just feel safer.
I did buy a little trial bag of the chicken, I'm going to try to mix in a little with their canned food. I just wanted to see if there is any reason I shouldn't do it with kittens (15wks old).

I can't think of a single reason why kittens shouldn't be started out on raw, afterall, in the wild their mothers would have started them on solid food, like mice and birds.

No reason why not, however I might pick one or 2 canned foods to rotate in so that if for some reason you have no access to the raw, they will still eat canned.

No reason at all  My Aby was weaned right onto raw by the breeder. He's a year old now and doing great. No issues at all from eating raw food.

The trial sized bags of NV are great to use  I wish that all the varieties came in trial sized bags, not just the chicken and beef :?

Primal Pet makes a sample pack that contains 5 of their 7 feline varieties. You can try that as well.

If your kittens won't go for straight raw, you could try freeze dried raw first and then slowly transition to raw. I had to do that with my other civie. I crumbled up freeze dried raw on top of her canned food for awhile and then slowly snuck in little pieces of raw.
