KittenCat 8/17 AMPS #168

I don’t know if this constitutes a 911 or not but I have to leave for work and Kittens PS was not very high so I don’t know if I should shoot her or not......
I did yesterday with a similar # and she had the most consistent day she’s had so far. I might be able to come back home on lunch to check her #’s if that makes a difference in decision making.

That’s your condo from yesterday for continuity. I saw Bron was concerned that you might not have shot .50. Im going to read the condo to see what else was said after that. I think if you shoot .50 and come home at lunch you should be fine unless I don’t see an answer to that. Be right back.
That’s kind of what I figured but they said to always check first before shooting w
I stand by my previous comment. Can you take another picture as Bron suggested?
If I didn’t hear back I was just going to shoot .5 and roll with it. She handled it well yesterday. But they said to always check first before shooting with numbers like that when you’re new and I don’t want to do anything to hurt her........
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Here is the pic of the dose. It’s easier to see the 6 lines this time to see that it is a half dose

Based on her previous numbers, I think you're safe to shoot .5. Did you get the calipers yet? I'm not a fan of guessing...please get the calipers as soon as you can. It helps so much with these fine doses.

Leave food down for Kit...

Hi Jenifer! Nice to see you're posting daily in the lantus forum :). Welcome!
Another vote for using calipers. I only recently started using them myself, and I sure wish I'd done so a whole lot sooner. It does take a few days to get the hang of it, but once you do you have peace of mind to know you are doses for KittenCat are as consistent as they possibly can be.
