Hi everyone,
Chispa has been meowing more than usual lately, and during a particularly vocal stretch I decided to test for ketones. Photos below show the results ... and I really can't tell whether this indicates negative or trace. The last photo is the test strip (right) compared to one that I dipped in plain water (left). If this is "trace," what should I be doing?
We are about a month and a half away from the 1-year anniversary of Chispa's diagnosis. I know the reduction point for TR changes to 40 for long-term diabetics, but what exactly is "long term"?
As always, I'm grateful for the individual and collective wisdom of group members.
Many thanks!
