Of *former* DCIN foster Katmandu has been OTJ since the end of October. We failed as fosters, had to keep him with us....
We have been really busy since as he ended up at the vets in November for a large abscess at the bottom of his tail that needed drained and cared for in isolation at home for 2 weeks. He then was diagnosed hyper-t in December and started Tapazole. He BGs have been normal - I just have not updated the spreadsheet. He also has the beginning of kidney disease, which became clearer with the Tapazole trial. He is probably a stage 1, early stage 2.
We dropped him off at Thames Valley in London Ontario on Saturday for the I131 radio iodine to treat his hyper-t. He is doing very well and we hope to be able to bring him home on Friday - when his radiation levels have reduced sufficiently.
