That is hilarious! I especially appreciate the part about how we don't get up if a cat is on our lap. I can't tell you how many times I've asked my husband to bring me the phone because, you know, I can't get up! :-D
 
Too funny!! I am guilty of not getting up when a cat is in my lap and I have also knelt on the floor for a few minutes rather than disturb a cat in a chair. Dear lord....what have they done to us?? I wouldn't have it any other way cat_pet_icon Thanks for sharing, Rhiannon!!

my husband and i invented our own special word for "i can't get up because there is a cat in my lap and that's the most important thing ever."

we call it "catlocked." :-D :lol:

"honey, i'm catlocked, could you bring me a glass of wine/dinner/my computer, blah blah blah?"
