Hello and Welcome,

I can help with the neuropathy.
Many of us here are using vitamin b-12.
. If you hunt for it elsewhere, make sure it is methylcobalmin. Not all b12
are the same.

Vitacost Vitamin B-12 Methylcobalamin -- 5000 mcg - 60 Capsules

A commonly given dose here is 3 mg -5 mg.
B vitamins are water soluble and any excess is excreted in the urine. So it can only help.

the bottle above is 5000mcg which is the same as 5 mg. You can empty the whole capsule and mix in with the canned food or use part of it if you prefer the 3 mg dose

Sorry. I hit the wrong button before I meant to.

Here is a link for information about neuropathy.

I haven't had experience with the Cushings. ( hyperadrenocorticism )
But I'm certain we have someone who will be able to address that for you if your cat has it.

Ask lots of questions.
You will find many eager to help you get thru this and help your cat.
So don't get discouraged just yet. The initial diagnosis is always a shock and your fears take over. nailbite_smile
You just happen to have found a community who has had the same experiences and will help you.
It is a steep learning curve and it will be overwhelming , especially in the beginning.
But We will help you get thru this emotional rollercoaster.

Re: just diagnosed now with diabetic neuropathy/cushing dise

Welcome! Everyone who comes here for the first time is scared, but usually, it isn't as bad as it seems at first. I hope your cat doesn't have Cushings, of course, but my cat has diabetes and CRF and pancreatitis, and he's doing fine, EDITED: AND neuropathy - sometimes I forget he has that because it is so much better than it was in the beginning.

Hang in there. The people on this board will get you through it!
