Just a quick Hello

It's been awhile since I have been here and wanted just to update those who have been by my side and Loki's with this. I just updated his SS and we are now doing 4 units 2 times per day. He is content, eats well, and is himself. I am happy that I found another vet, he really explains all so well and takes his time with Loki. Loki is maintaining his weight well now, no more loss. His #'s are "fair" according to the last fructosamine test this week. We return in 6 weeks now instead of 3 for another fructosamine test.

Good to hear from you. It's always wonderful to hear that the kitty is feeling content and happy. His numbers are still quite high, over the renal threshold. It might be wise to get a curve? Some of your nadirs are pretty good, but I wonder if there is a lower number before or after that +6 number. If he isn't bouncing from some lows, you might consider upping the dose? You really want them to be in that regulated range most of the time - it's in the 200s at preshot and double digits at nadir.
