I don't know if any of you remember me and Josie, but she had been doing very well, was regulated with diet change, and was able to get off insulin. Her numbers are still good, but she has been very sick the last little while.
First, she had major constipation and now her bum is always dirty so she must be having diareha.
She had massive amounts of thick gunky stuff in both eyes this morning. much more than when a cat has conjunctivitis, which a cat of mine had in the past.
And she has lost weight, quite suddenly it was noticeable.
It is a holiday long weekend so I cant get in to see a vet until tuesday at the earliest. Tuesday morning I will call around to see if any local vets will use "Farely's fund" for an emergency visit.
she doesnt seem to be in pain, is still drinking normally, and i think eating normally but i cant be sure as she free feeds with the other cats.
I cant afford to have the vet do a lot of testing, and if it isnt her sugar levels causing this, I am afraid it is something much more serious and that i will have to consider having her put down.
just looking for support i guess.
