We switched from 75% low carb wet and 25% EVO to ALL low carb wet yesterday and the results have been pretty confusing.
3/9
PMPS (noon) - 361 - .75 units
+4 - 221
+6 - 211
+11.5 (11:30pm) - 104!!!
+12.5 - decided to feed and test again in 1.5 hours
+14 - 159 - thinking it's still too low too shoot, decided to test again in two hours
+16 -212 - probably should have shot here, but decided to wait another half hour, which turned into an hour
+17/AMPS (6am) - 258 - fed leftovers from dinner and gave .50 units
03/10
+3.5 - 186 at this point I am thinking we are going to have good numbers! Fed her about a tablespoon of low carb wet food
+4.5 - 242 (what!!! How did she jump so high so fast?)
+6 - 273 - not happy and VERY confused! Why is she going up when she should be at her lowest?
I am really confused because she seems to go up when she should go down and vice versa! I was shocked at her low her AMPS numbers were, since she had been flat all day. And I don't understand the rise between +3.5 and +4.5. A tablespoon of low carb wet shouldn't have given her a huge food spike. I worry how high she's going to be in 6 hours.
Also, we are completely off schedule (she gets insulin and noon and midnight, but because of the delay she had her last shot at 6am). I am not sure how to fix that!
