I’d like to thank everyone who took time out of their personal lives to help me and Johnny and be our diabetic Sherpa.

I am elated to report that the vet has officially declared Johnny to be in remission!

We couldn’t have done this without all of you and your wonderful resources!
 
Congratulations!

His numbers are still a little higher than we like to see for a remission, so please just keep spot-testing him weekly to stay on top of any upward trends.
 
Oh I will definitely continue to monitor.

The reason he was confident in saying remission is because Johnny currently has a stomatitis flair, and had he still truly been diabetic, his BG would have been through the roof.
