I'm having a horrible time getting Jerry to eat canned food. He is most diffidently a kibble junkie! Is there a good kibble to feed him while I try to get him to eat only canned. He has to eat something. I live near a PetSmart does anyone know if they sale anything I can offer him.

I feed Evo which I order online it takes a couple days to get it, but everyone loves it. At Pet Smart I saw a food called Raw Instinct that I wanted to ask about here. Not sure what carb content is maybe you could call the company today.

I'm in the UK so not 100% sure but I think EVO Cat and Kitten is one choice in the US. (Haven't a scooby whether Pet Smart sell it. Sorry! :( ) Young Again Zero Carb is another option but you need to order that online.

Some stores sell Evo but I couldn't find any near me. Be sure to get the Cat And Kitten variety. It comes in Turkey And Chicken and in a fish flavor.

Young Again is about the same price but you have to order it from the company. They have a Zero Carb formula and Zero Carb Mature, which is what I'm currently feeding my kibble addict. If you call the 800 number on the YA website, they'll send you free samples so you can see if Jerry will like the YA.

If you feed either of these, you may have to supplement his diet with fiber since there's no /low fiber in these foods. I give Marshmallow a couple of teaspoons of pumpkin purée every day.

Just in case you haven't seen it, there's a thread called "Dry food options?" from Aug 15th where several people posted ideas on switching hardcore dry food addicts to wet food. Trust me, I know it may not be possible for all cats, but it might worth looking through if you haven't already and still want to switch him.

Sometimes you have to go with what the cat will eat. Even a reduction from 30-40% calories from carbohydrate to 12-15% is better. You might check out Wellness Core dry which I believe is in that range.

I just tried to order Evo cat and kitten Turkey and Chicken from chewy.com and was told it's been discontinued. I emailed Evopet.com to ask about , no reply yet. I'm really upset about this as it took me 6 weeks to transition Goof to wet food, he HATED it. He WILL NOT eat Friskies AT ALL. I'd try Fancy Feast, but jeez, I have 6 cats, I'd go thru at least 12 cans a day! I'm going to try to call Evo today and see what's going on.

Please let us know. I get mine from Wag.com. I did notice they were out of the small bags, but still had the large ones. Don't know what I'll do if they have discontinued it, I just finished transitioning mine over to it.:banghead:

My boy will only eat EVO dry. I've heard/seen nothing about it being discontinued. All of our local pet stores that carry it are still constantly getting it in. Sometimes, I pick it up at our small local shop and the woman who works there is all about pet food. She hasn't said anything to me, and I'm certain she would. She knows about what's going on with our boy. I find it hard to believe they would discontinue this food. It's entirely possible the website is wrong.
