It can have a later nadir - +9 to even pre-shot has been reported. As the depot fills, you'll want to be watching for that and be prepared.

Did you start with 70% of your previous Lantus dose? With more overlap between doses, you may wind up needing less.

I think Cedric was doing better on Lev, if only his pancreas had co-operated. Good luck with the change!

She is having a great day so far! Really feeling encouraged. I am so hoping that she doesnt bounce so much on Levemir.

And yes, her dose is about as low as i can get it... a drop.

That is exactly why I chose today to make the change, I knew I could be around to keep an eye on her
 
Thanks for all the visits today. She had a great first cycle on Levemir. I am encouraged.
 
Beautiful first day for Sammy!! You may find her onset will be later as well as the nadir but Levemir should give you a longer hang time. Keep up the good work Sammy Girl!!
