Darling Samantha woke me up from a sound sleep at 5am to politely request that I serve her a pre-breakfast breakfast. She comes into our room and literally says "HEL-lo. HELL lo. Hell LO???" That last hello is quite sarcastic (as in "are you deaf, I am talking to you here!". I keep trying to get her on video saying hello, but she shuts up as soon as she sees me with the camera.

Nice numbers to start the day. I am off to get my camo on today. (otherwise known as having my hair dyed)

Hope everyone has nice numbers today.

Would love to see that video if you ever catch her - although the visual as you describe it is pretty entertaining! They sure keep us on our toes. I have the opposite problem having just come off holiday vacation, as I am up an hour earlier and my cats don't get it. They just stay on the bed (which is unusual for them) and look at me like I am crazy. They don't even come down for breakfast - except Alska who is up, sitting on his testing table, waiting for his poke, shot and breakfast

You just reminded me to call my hairdresser for my own "camo" treatment :-D

Rofl. .I have a meezer that literally says Mom. If he hadn't come to us named Casper I would have named him Stewie. Because he follows me with mom, mom, mom, ma, ma, mom, mama. hehe.

They are such funny creatures. Gotta love them! There must have been something in the air last night because Casey woke us up at 4:15

Wish I could dye my hair but I'm deathly allergic to it so I must just age as gracefully as possible.

Sammy can say Mom too. One day she was saying hello. My mother was here, so I said to Sammy "Hello Mom". She said Hello Meow. ... I kept repeating it and she eventually turned the Meow into Mom.... it was funny watching her work on it. My mother said "its like she is working on turning Meow upside down!"
