Sadly, Jake has passed from complications of his stroke. He is now at the Rainbow Bridge with his soulmate Maxie. I will write more later about Jake's story when I can think clearly. In the meantime, thank you for giving me three more years with him.

((((Judy)))) so sorry for your loss. As someone who lost my Cleo over the weekend, I know how much your heart is breaking. I know Jake is flying free with all our GA kitties, free from all pain and suffering. Hugs to you.

I'm so very sorry for your loss of Jake, Judy. It's good that you got to nurse him at the end and he lived a remarkably long happy life. I hope the memories can soothe you.

((((Judy,)))) I am so very sorry about Jake. I had hoped he would recover from his stroke but that is a tough challenge to overcome.
There are many FDMB kitties at the bridge waiting to greet him and play happily together. It hurts to let go of our beloved kitties but it helped me a tiny bit last year when friends on FDMB felt their GA kitties would be greeting my BigMac when he died. I hope you can feel the same small comforting thought with Jake. cat_pet_icon
 
Judy - Haven't been here in a while, but stopped by and saw this. I'm so sorry for your loss. As I've grieved for Kitty Kosmo, the thought that gives me the most comfort is how loved these furbabies are in their time on this plane. Jake was as loved as any kitty can be.

Dear Judy,
I'm so sorry for your loss of your dear Jake. He lived a long life with family who loved him and gave him everything. But, it still hurts just as much to say goodbye. My deepest sympathy.
