I understand the nervousness, as a new member we drum it into your head not to shoot under 200 because you have no testing data to see how they react to the insulin, you don't have a hypo kit set up yet and you havn't had time to learn the ins and outs of this sugar dance.
But you aren't new anymore. Granted shooting lower numbers is uncharted territory but if you get a test at +3 or +4 to see if he is dropping faster than you are comfortable with you can feed him to slow the drop. Test again to see where he is at and if you need to intervene because of a low number you can break out the higher carb food to bring him up.
The testing gives you the knowledge and the power to control what happens, and you test like a pro.
