Jack hit 55 at +4 this morning!

I shot an hour late this morning, and he hit low at +4 and a half. He hasn't been eating much of his wet food the past couple days. Has been chowing tuna though, and when he hit the low I gave him some Karo and dry kibble in his wet. He wasn't showing any symptoms of hypo, but was low. He's now in the 500's. Should I give him his pm dose? I won't be home to monitor him if he drops.
Today was his lowest ever.
 
Yes give him his shot, since you won't be home to monitor I think I would stick with 1 unit.

Your ss is looking good, he's starting to come around. Can you start posting daily so we can help?
 
Jack hit an all time low today, 41@ +11, 60 pmps. Wouldn't eat, finally inhaled half a can of FF, puked it up, and is now circling the dish, thinking about eating more. He exhibited no hypo symptoms. He was acting a little sleepy maybe, but that's it. Didn't give Karo and he's now under the bathroom vanity messing with something, acting normal. I just busted him eating a couple pieces of dry food that spilled under the vanity! LOL. Naughty. What's with the low #s? Should I be expecting more of these, which I also assume is leading to good things?

60 is actually a safe number; it's only a worry if he's under 50. Don't be surprised if he's high at the next ps and maybe has a flat cycle or two. He's not used to being this low.
 
Thank you for responding! I can't post on the Facebook page for some reason, and I was getting concerned. Jack hasn't risen above 61; he actually dropped back to 51.
 
These are normal, non-diabetic numbers. Don't worry, he can't hypo witout insulin, and itsounds like it's been long enough since.shot time he'll be fine coasting.

It looks like you need to lower the dose a bit. The .75 unit did very well on the lower yellow numbers so I think I'd try that dose next.

Things are looking great for you and Jack.
