4, i said four, that's a big whopping FOUR years ago today, my little.....ok, not so little, Mousie was blessed to be diagnosed with diabetes.

yes, i said blessed to be diagnosed with diabetes.

Robbie's birthday and your anniversary! Yippeeee- she is so sweet looking. What is it that she is eating off that plate? Looks like liver??
 
LOL!! she loves anything raw it seems.

in that video she is eating the bag of stuff that is inside a turkey at thanksgiving and christmas....right after she was diagnosed and i was learning about proper nutrition and such we decided to give it a try and see if she'd like raw or not. crazy broad ate the whole bag of stuff herself and i wish i had my camera that year because i swear she was lying on her rug shortly afterwards, belly to the sky, with a big smile on her face.

the other video of her not walking so great is when she had her real bad ear infection and scared the bejeezus out of me 'cause she couldn't hardly walk.

brings back a lot of memories looking thru her pictures and videos....all the fun we used to have here with me and my crazy camera.....all the wonderful people i've met over the years.....everything i've learned.....
 
YAY! Happy Annifursary! I know what you mean..diabetes has been a gift as well as a burden at times. but would'nt trade it for...well almost anything. tom is sooo much more special to me now. and mousie to you i'm sure.
so glad you here (once in a while, when needed)

Awesome. I love that you say she was blessed with the dx. I couldn't agree more. Her FD also brought you to the FD forums and through that so many countless others have been helped and will continue to be helped. Way to go Mousie and way to go you!!

Happy Annifursary to you, both!!! I remember watching your testing video when I first arrived and dreaming that Calliope would be like Mousie, eventually. Well, she wasn't, of course. :lol:

Thanks for all the help you gave me in the past and all you've done for others and will do in the future. I looked at all of the Mousie pics and videos and a few more! Loved them!
 
you know i just realized you guys were here only 7 or 8 months before me and tom...but gosh you were sooooo helpful even at that tender young almost newbie age. my first responder...you hooked me up with cheri and patriot, you walked me thru tom's hypo and put the first "HYPO ALERT" up for us... i have to admit, i always thought you'd been here for years back then. even as a newbie you were always on the front lines helping newbie's.
what a good mamma mousie and the crew have. and a good daddy too!
