Michele and Peeps

Active Member
Since Peeps was diagnosed with cancer.

Yesterday, I replaced a toy she has loved for the last year. I received it as a free promo at the store I shop at, and was skeptical that she'd like it, let alone the other cats. The choice of toys here are usually leaves, twist ties, or pencils. So, when Peeps went absolutely mad over it, it was not destined to make it's way to my grandma's house (where all the expensively ignored toys I but usually end up).

Over the year, Peeps has drooled all of the catnip out of the toy, and it has 'deflated' considerably. So, with a handy dandy rebate check from all the litter I buy from the store, I decided to replace her stinky toy and film a moment of her being a kitty.

Yes, she is kind of slow.. but she is a little old lady cat! Give her some credit

What a nice video! I hope she wears this one out also. She's the same age as Thumper & that's about what Thumper looks like playing. She had a great time with the new cat nip toys I just brought.

My dad stopped by last night.

Dad: "Sorry"
Me: "Ok.. wait, for what?"
Dad: "Peeps"
Me: "??????"
Dad: "She died didn't she?"
Me: "No!"
Dad: "WHAT? I saw your video at 2am and was up sobbing all night about it!"
Me: "Sorry"
Dad: "Maybe you should put a disclaimer on there. I saw her birth year, cancer year, and diabetes stuff, but no death date. I thought it was weird.. but it just had that kind of a feeling to it."

I just posted this video to facebook without any information about it. Poor daddy!
