Is this normal ?

So on the 7th ross had numbers bouncing all over thru the day and always has then the 8th he was too low for his shot was 98.3 so i checked later still same range didn't give his shot then the next day same thing and today the last 3 days he's had no insulin and yet his numbers are ranging from 97.2 to 183.6 im guessing it's a good thing but i wasn't expecting it.
 
From your SS it is likley that Ross is no longer needing insulin. You can get some bouncing when you give insulin like you did on the 7th
 
Blu has been in remission twice - both times he had insulin for about three months. It can happen quick! Every kitty is different, but both times Blu was on insulin he dropped from fairly high numbers to low numbers very quickly, which is stressful lol. I got lazy after he was off insulin the first time ( after 8 months or so I was like oh, we are fine over here) and wasn't regularly checking his glucose levels - if remission happens, pls learn from my mistake and check him often. I hope he is on his way to no insulin!!!

So far he's still not had any insulin since the first time i posted so far i have been checking at his reg shot times to see his numbers he's showing up really really low like 60-70s it's kinda scary he's that low without any insulin he's been getting a mix of dm purina and friskies pates now.

Blu is exactly that in both his remissions - blood glucose off insulin between 60-70. It is okay! Good actually! Human meters have a bit of variance as well. I checked my non diabetic cat and she is in the 40's! As long as you aren't giving insulin, you don't have to fear low numbers! I only feed low carb canned but luckily he prefers canned over dry so that works out. I'm so happy for you!
