Is oral bupe from May 19 still good/safe?

I cannot find an answer to this, so I am hoping someone here knows. I have some oral buprenex that was put in a plastic vial at the vet clinic on May 19th. Do I need to throw it away or would it be safe to use?

I have used bupe that was a few months old and it was fine, but if in doubt, call your vet and ask.
