12-year old Isaac was diagnosed about two months ago, was on insulin for about a month and has been OTJ for about one month.
I test him daily and his BG numbers are excellent around 70 - 90.
The mystery is that on two occasions (about 24 hours apart) he has experienced episodes of wobbly week back legs. It is pretty mild though--he doesn't drop all the way to his hocks, they are just lower than usual with a couple of stumbles --over in 30 seconds. At other times he is fine and jumping onto furniture. It is very possible that he has had it before but I just didn't notice.
Does neuropathy appear when the BG numbers are this low? It is something that comes and goes? or are the symptoms constant once your kitty has it?
I am waiting for a delivery of methyl B-12. Any advice would be appreciated.
P.S. It is thanks to this site that my cat diabetes is in remission. I learned everything here and I thank you.
