Is it weird that my local vets don't carry leukaren?

Is it weird that my local vets don't carry and can't get leukaren? Isn't that a fairly common drug/treatment for cats? i am going to have to find a pharmacy on my own locally that carries it for humans i guess.

I do not find that unusual for a GP vet not to carry it. It is usually prescribed by an oncologist, not a GP vet. It has to be refrigerated and the shelf life is not that long. When my Mario was on it it I found it less expensive to get it at the local pharmacy than for the specialist Vet's practice.
