Prop is usually such a rolemodel in nice numbers with no bounces, but this week has not been that at all.

Higher numbers, starting on the sundeck instead of the pool. High foodspikes given a smaller drop overall.

And then yesterday she finally camr down in the pool at ps, just below 200 at pmps. At +3 she had rised to 220. Again much higher foodspike than usual. A few hours before pmps i woke up and opened the dry food for my other cat. Fell asleep. Prop had a huge amount of dryfood and pretty much smiled all over, looked so happy :) So afraid of how her amps would look like a few hours later, but to my surprice, again below 200 even if she had the big foodspike. Maybe she didnt have to much dryfood after all. Well think again. Now at +9 she is just below 300. I guess that dryfood takes a long time to raise the numbers, but surprice i couldnt see it on her amps.
So now we clear the system during tomorrow and run curve on sunday, need to find out why her numbers have been higher during the week. The insulin is only a month old so that shouldnt be it.

Join the club. I'm seeing weird spikes here as well. Although here it might be either my meter has lost its mind or I have a bad batch of strips.

Count me in on the ARGHHHH! Noodle saw the vet yesterday and he said keep his dose at 1.25U for a week unless his ketones get above trace. Said he looked good otherwise but his BGs go up when the dose goes up. He must have a really panicky liver. Trying to be patient but it's hard. So, yes, ARGHHHH from here too. Good luck with Prop

Good luck with Noodle too, sorry its not easier finding the right dose.

Well since everything is pretty much fu.... Up anyway i decided to try some food that i suspected had been the reason for Prop vomiting the last few times igave it to her. 2 1/2 hours after eating she had crazy vomiting. Very much water in it, dry foodfrom last night, some wet from today, but mostly water and lots of it. Kind of flew out of her! And landed up to 30 centimeters from her. VAfter 5 minutes she was ready to eat again, and since i gave her more insulin than usual, because of higher bg, she got a dish full of the food i know she will tolerate. She never had intolerence of anything before, wonder why i comes now or maybe they have changed something in the recipe.

so sorry you're having a bad time. i hope things settle down. sending healing thoughts to you

That is how Calley vomits too. Projectile.....and it splatters. yuckie :(

I can't find any food that does not cause the vomiting. I don't think it is the food actually......but I don't know anything really. All I know is that Calley vomits most days and is losing weight. But she will turn around after vomiting and want to eat again.

Poor kitty!!!!!

Pretty sure its the food here. But she used to tolerate it so she is definetly getting more sensitive. So now that brand is a nogo. She is doing good othervise except for her wierd numbers these days. Think i maybe need to up her dose a bit. She has been getting between 0,06-0,08 u for a while and it might be to little, since her +3 numbers this morning is pretty much the same as amps.
