We seem to be falling apart without Sue! we gotz a lotz of nervouse mommies and I don't know how to calm them. I don't know if Sue had a knack or what....Nervous mommies please, give yourself a break. Your kitties are getting the 5 star treatment. The right foods. insulin, love, security, warmth, mommies...the best treatment available.
Please give yourselfs a pat on the back and know you are all doing well, better than well. If your kitties could talk they'd all be saying

thanx you mommie furs takin such gud care o meh.

Awww, it is tough to fill her shoes. I think we are doing ok, no? Maybe just seeing the nerves more b/c we are spending more time here and reading posts we might otherwise skip. I know I've been doing that at least. I will be happy when she's back though!!! She holds down the fort lately.

Hugs to all the beans, you are all doing great!!!

maybe your right...i'm ususally not here as much. i wish all of our opinions were the same so we would'nt be stressing the mommies out. i'm just going with you joanna...i trust your opinion.
i'm too risky...go with joanna.

LOL Lori you are making me laugh tonight!!! I say.... go with Rob! I'm tired and easily confuzed. LOL. j/k I think we are all good, and it's good to bounce different ideas around. Stressed beans are a given, it's stressful when the #s are bad, scary when the #s are good, it's just the diabetes thang, makes ya crazy, right?

Thanks for the support Lori. I think we all just get so worried about our babies when we want them to get better and doubt ourselves.

Thank you both for all of your input...
It has been great knowing you guys are here for all of us newbies
and nervous mama's
your support has been a godsend, and we all appreiate everything you are doing
in Sue's absence

Lori, Joanna and Robin...you ladies have been great!!! Please don't feel bad about us nervous mommies...you know we will be nervous anyways, no matter who is on here!! We have all learned so much from all of you. Many, many thanks for the support, ideas and laughs! It is sometimes hard to sort through different opinions, but you usually give some type of rationale to your thinking. That teaches us to problem solve a little more on our own. I took a risk on giving a lower dose yesterday based on the different opinions, and so far it seemed to work. Like you guys always say, ECID. Keep up the great work!!

All of us appreciate all the support and help Sue, Lori, Joanna, Judy and Robin give.
It gives us insight into what we might try to get our kitties into better numbers and the possible "whys" to wonky numbers.
All of us would be in a far worse place if not for all the help we get on FDMB, if most of had not come here we would be feeding inappropriate high carb food, raising and raising our doses according to our vet's instruction and not starting over at 1U to see if we get better numbers, not testing enough, etc.
All you guys rock!

Amen to what everyone has said! We’d be in a world of hurt without ya!
Love to you all!

I don't know who Sue is because I've only started posting on here not long ago, but I think you all do great! I probably fall into the "nervous mommy" category, but know I'll get it sorted out eventually with your help. I'd probably be calmer, but with a long overseas trip soon plus having another cat pass away only a few weeks back is making me a little more anxious than usual. I just want her as stable as possible before my trip, as trying to diagnose issues from 5000 miles away isn't easy, nor do I want my friend to have to deal with serious health issues in my absence. We'll deal with whatever happens. The only way out is through, right?

thanks so much all of YOU Mommies! I know how hard the beginnings are. I got scared because everyone seemed to be very nervous on the same night....I felt like I did'nt know how to calm you and assure you. Guess nobody could assure me just 5 months ago when I started a new insulin and all the rules were the complete opposite of useing pzi....I was a wreck!!! and with numbers in the 600's!!!!!
I got so unruly with the folks trying to help me I finally was asked to leave the board until I could cool off
soooo, compared to me, you are all wonderful.
And granted some of you have some serious issues with your kitty....and other things in life.
Sue is on a much needed Vacation...and somehow she became the newbie welcoming commitee and the next thing you knew when things were slow over here in pzi she started helping here too.
I don't know how she did it! Helping sooooo many beans both on and not on pzi...and welcoming newbie's on 'health' too.
She left big shoe's to fill.
She was a very calming person....is I mean, is a very calming person.
Kinda hope she gets to read this and see how much we miss her.

and Thomas.

Ssh! I'm not supposed to be here now. lol Holy cats, I have too much on my plate, but the boards are a great distraction.

Just wanted to say "Thanks" to all of you!

I miss Sue, but you all have been great. I truly hope you want abandon us when Sue returns--it is great having additional hands on experts on board-- Even if Lori never reads my post!!! (lol)

Thanks again from Kitty, myself and everyone in PZI land!
