? Is generic adequan okay?

My vet sells generic adequan for $60 for a 5ml vial. Is generic adequan okay?
I think I read about this here recently but now I can't find it.

I hesitate to have anything shipped here during the hot summer months, so maybe I will buy the ICHON from my vet. I would rather buy the Canine Adequan though. I will think about it some more.

Now I read on a horse site that ICHON is manufactured in China w/o FDA supervision while adequan is manufactured in the US with FDA supervision. Maybe I will ask if the suppliers here ship on ice.
