Is anyone using Milk Thistle for pancreatitis?

Hi!

I've read about using milk thistle as a supplement to help with pancreatitis. One of the vets had also mentioned it as an alternative therapy.

Does anyone have any experience with it; and if so, how much per pound of cat? I read one drop per 2 pounds (liquid) (vetinfo.com .. i think).

Milk thistle derivatives are often given to support the liver, which may be compromised in pancreatitis. Some brand name formulations include Marin and Denmarin.
