tuckers mom Member Since 2009 Apr 13, 2011 #2 I would not give aspirin if I didn't have to. It takes about 72 hours for a cat's liver to break it down. It can be toxic. But if my vet said to give it, 1/4 tablet of a baby aspirin every third day. Check with your vet to be sure there isn't something serious going on.
