My cat is on humilin n, and ever since she started two months ago, I have found she has gotten more irritable especially around our other cats... Is this normal?

What blood glucose levels does your cat (name?) have at various times? Before shot and between shots?
Maybe the cat is gooing to low or too high,
N is a poor insulin for cats since it only last 8-10 hours and yo get steep drops in BGu

I always check when she gets irritable and its not that she's too high or too low.
I have a feeling she's just getting fed up with having her ears poked all the time...... :/

Hi,
I always check when she gets irritable and its not that she's too high or too low.
Well done for hometesting, and it's good that you've managed to rule out high/low numbers.

I have a feeling she's just getting fed up with having her ears poked all the time...... :/
Aw, bless her....
Are you rewarding her with a treat each time you test? That can certainly help to win the kitty over.
And are you testing the ear? Some folks find that their kitty tolerates paw pad tests better.
You might find something helpful in this page of hometesting info, tips and tricks, and example videos:

Hoping you find something to make it easier for your girl.

I'm honestly not sure how people don't home test... I'm always worried she's too high or too low,.
Thanks for the link Eliz!
