And the instructions on how to inject, including the let the insulin in the needle get to room temp for an hour are far better than I got from Vet tech for $150 Vet charge.

An hour !?!?!?!

Just load the syringe, put the insulin vial back into the refrigerator, then warm the
part of the syringe with the insulin in it between your fingertips while you get everything else
ready and in place.

I'd be afraid to warm some insulins that long.

I don't let the insulin or wouldn't let the insulin warm up for an hour either. Just put the syringe in your closed palm and it would warm up pretty quickly.

For the small amount of insulin typically used for cats, the room temperature syringe will warm up the insulin enough.

Kudos to BD for recognizing all the people who are using their syringes for cats! The site isn't perfect, talks about urine testing only, and has a few FAQs from Dr. Greco that I disagree with (http://www.bd.com/us/diabetes/page.aspx ... 01&id=7383) - but that's all rather minor, because it shows they are paying attention to us. ;-)
