This may not be the correct place to post but--- Went to Wal mart on July 4th to get some extra test strips while waiting for my mail order( just in case) and decided to pick up syringes at the same time. Told the tech I need the 29 gauge 1/2 inch with 1/2 unit marks, he checked my script on file rang up my order and bagged it, I got home and he gave me the 1/2ml cc for doses up to 50 units. Went back in the AM and was told syringes are not returnable( Blood borne pathigens policy) and I would have to purchase the correct ones. I protested-- to put it mildly!!! and they gave me new ones!!! They refused to take the unopened box back --to make a long story short does anyone have any use for these syringes. I will ship at my cost I just hate to throw them away.

You can post in Supply Closet or see if Diabetic Cats in Need (DCIN) can use them. Alternatively, you could donate them to your local no kill shelter.

Yes, unfortunately that happens sometimes at the pharmacy. You ask for insulin syringes with 1/2 inch markings and what you get instead is 1/2 cc or 1/2 inch needles  That's why most people buy their insulin syringes online because they know they will get the correct product. Or they check the insulin syringes at the pharmacy before they pay.

A high dose cat can use the 1/2cc insulin syringes. Or you can donate them to DCIN. You can post the insulin syringes in the Supply Closet as well.
