First, I want to say ty for all the help in the last couple of days!!! My Sugar Bean and I are trotting right along, and learning not only how to cope and adjust, so are her 2 sisters! New schedules, new food, new treats and we are doing this slowly... I am also learning how to use this site, so if for any reason, you need to correct what I am doing... Please let me know..
The question... Ms. Bean is on PZI and doing 1 unit every 12.... do not have meter just yet, but we will mid next week... I have been getting the shot ready in the evening for the next am shoot time..... gently mixing and drawing up the unit, and putting back in frig for the next day... I need to know if this process is ok..... she seems better today than yesterday and the day before! GO BEAN!
ty in advance for all your comments & happy Easter!

It's not a good idea to pre-draw PZI because it needs to be gently mixed (bottle rolled) before injected. It is better to do that in the bottle. Even though you mix it when you draw, there is going to be settling in the syringe and it's probably not possible to get it well mixed before injecting after sitting all night/all day. You would not want to shake the syringe either.

You're asking questions, that's perfect use of the board!

Re: Newbie Kit. not mid next week...by this wed. it should be in you hands! Getting ready to send it off priority mail in about 20 minutes.

I used to preload syringes with PZI. Never noticed a problem with efficacy.
