Insulin injection site?

Hi, I was wondering where users inject insulin. I've seen videos of injections in the scruff as well as near the thigh/leg. Is there a method that's preferred or do you switch it up...? Any great tips for beginners? Thanks in advance!

I do the scruff. But it's really up to you and your kitty.

No. The likelihood of you hitting the same spot exactly, is probably zero, lol. I do a general 5x5 area. I've heard some cats hate the scruff, mine doesn't even acknowledge the shot. You just don't want to hit bone or muscle. Just because I've heard it can hurt, not for any other reason. So I always pull up a nice chunk to shoot into. Good luck. It gets easier with each shot. I'm a noob and I'm finally relaxed.
