It kicks in the first day you give it and really builds up over the next week. But your cat wont feel better until you get him regulated and on the right dose which can take a little bit of patience. Many cats also go into remission if you do the below.
You can get him regulated faster or into remission if..
- you feed a low carb canned food or a low carb dry food (we can recommend both) - but you need to be home testing before you do this
- you home test to get a better picture of whats going on - since many cats go into remission when on a low carb canned food or dry, it is critical to test to watch for this-especially since Cosmo is on such a high dose of insulin.... You dont want to give him a hypo!!
