? Insulin Glargine question

So, last week I sent my hubby to pick up Micio's new box of Insulin Glargine at Costco but "failed" to remember he was supposed to come straight home and put it back on the fridge; instead, he made 2 stops (total of about 10-15 minutes) and it was pretty darn hot out there (about 85F outdoor and around 70F inside the car)...as soon as he came back home I put it on the fridge.
What are the chances this unopened box of 5 pens insulin still good? I checked on the files but only says do not use if it freezes...and already ask the pharmacist, they don't recommend using it but I'll trust your judgment better.
Anyway, out of curiosity, what would happen if using insulin that was expose to either heat or freezing temps? would it hurt or just not be effective?
Thanks in advance

As long as it’s clear it and since new and not opened it won’t hurt him. I mistakenly left mine out more than once overnight during the summer and didn’t have a problem. It might not last quite as long or not be effected at all.

Tha's what I thought, I just checked the pens and they look clear just like the one I'm currently using. I'll open and use one tomorrow morning and we'll see, just in case I still have about 100u left on my old one and enough time to order a new box.
Thank you!

I honestly don’t think you need another box and I bet you can use these to the last drop. The unopened ones can be used until the expiration date at least and perhaps longer as long as clear. D
Don’t worry.
