Insulin efficacy

Hey all! So quick question about insulin efficacy. Texas just had terrible storms where we lost power for a week and my cat’s Prozinc insulin went bad. We had to wait almost 10 days to get more and when I started using it, it doesn’t seem to be helping her glucose levels. Has anyone had an experience where the insulin you received may be a bad batch? Thanks in advance!
 
We just recently started home testing so no spreadsheet yet. She was doing so well before the bad weather and no electricity and now it seems she’s not getting any type of relief. Thank you for your reply!
