we had been getting some good numbers finally. even got some double digits end of July, and there were times he went 12+ without needing a shot. he was drinking less, peeing less, and eating more normal amount of food. then things went off the rails a bit soon after.

I cannot account for it. its like suddenly the insulin isn't effective. any ideas?

can you please look at our ss?

I wish I had answers for you. Squallie has been going through the same thing for a long time, now. I know there has to be a reason, something is going on inside his little body that is causing this, but we can't seem to find out what it is. He is going back to the vet this week, so they can tell me again that they can't find anything. :( I hope you can figure out what is going on with Mr. Biddles. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

It is always upsetting when we start to see backwards progression. There could be a number of things that come into play.
1. Health issues that have not come to light
2. Insulin starting to fizzle out
3. A missed low number causing a bounce
4. A need to continue with increases
5. A kitty trying to drive their bean crazy

and probably many more variables. Sometimes we have to ignore a bad day or so and continue along. I too have had time when I was scratching my head about one of my kitty's numbers and was all ready to do an increase. The next thing I knew they were diving and ended up earning a reduction. Some things we just can't control, but try not to worry too much at this point. :bighug:
