I often get offers of insulin for Diabetic Cats in Need, and I truly, very truly, appreciate the offers.
If you have fresh or unopened insulin that you no longer need, please consider donating it to DCIN. I keep a list of folks who have offered, and when there is a need, I ask them to mail it out. DCIN will reimburse you for the postage if you want. I can give you a receipt for the value of your donation for US income tax purposes if you can use it.
The same goes for other diabetic supplies that do not have expiry dates, such as syringes and lancets.
