Hi group i was wondering if the Weruva Classic Cat Paw Lickin Chicken would be acceptable to feed my cat.
I can't find the carb% on the site or maybe I'm not understanding the analysis correctly. I know it has a small amount of gravy but not sure if this takes it above 10%. I like that it has quality ingredients , high protein and low in Phos. I have tried Bff flavors and he doesn't like any off them.

Thank you

Hey Shawn, I think the Paw Lickin Chicken is pretty low in calories. It is low carb, of course, but I wonder if it’s enough calories for him to eat exclusively? Just thinking.

Ya I was thinking the same thing.
It didn't agree with him to good this AM when I checked his stool so I'm going to have to find something different for him. Maybe the slight gravy in it.

There's got be something that is decent out there but affordable with good protein , low carbs and low phos.. it's been a challenge.

He needs about 310 calories a day. He is 15 lbs and ideal weight is right around 16lbs

Thank you

Oh, and whenever you switch foods in a cat, be sure to introduce new kinds and flavors gradually over a period of several days to a weeks or it will have a good chance of causing them diarrhea.

A lot of people are saying that their cats are liking the Weruva WX Phos Focus foods. Not sure about the price, but Chewy sells it.
Ya i'm going to look into that one. I'm going to see if Petco has it. Looks like it also is low in calories.

I gave him only 4 tsp of the new stuff last night. Maybe that was still to much. Probably best i just switch back to all pates for him since he used to them.

Just got keep trying to find the right one. Least he's eating Fancy Feast but Phoshates worry me with the Turkey n Giblets and Classic Chicken
