Infections in OTJ cats

Just curious, does anyone here have an OTJ cat who has had an infection and not had bg go sky high?

Rhubarb has had two infections since otj, and neither time went over 133. was curious if others are like that.

You are lucky then!
Sheba used to get pancreatitis about twice a year and would sometimes go up to the 200s or 300s for a day or two then come back down to normal. Eventually she didn’t and fell out of remission.
Best to get onto any infection immediately to prevent prolonged higher numbers.

Rhubarb has had two infections since otj, and neither time went over 133.

Whenever there's any infection present - even when BG numbers aren't elevated - it's a good general safety precaution to monitor for ketones.
