Does anybody know why BGs could rise during the day? Buddy never ended up on the juice (YAY!!) and is doing well with diet regulation - everything is in the normal range. I have to confess, I switched to AlphaTrak because in the end I'm ridiculously obsessive and I wanted to have numbers specific to a cat. I know, I know... my old Relion was just fine - believe me I know. It's the bean that isn't fine.
Anyhow I've noticed a trend. I test Buddy about 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM each day. In the morning he might be around 120 (AlphaTrak normal is 100-250). Then when I test him at 6:00 PM, he could be 150. By the next morning, he'll be back down to that 120 range. There are times he grazes before I get home and there are some days when he is evidently agitated when I walk through the door (he has some anxiety problems). Most days, however, he's sitting quietly on the other side of the door waiting for the sound of my keys. He'll be excited to see me, but not anything crazy.
Anyone have idea as for the consistent trend of higher BGs at 6:00 PM?
