If you are up, need some feedback on PM dose

I know I've probably worn you guys out with the t.i.d. dosing today, but if you are up and have a minute, I need to give Shaikha her PM shot in another half hour. Any suggestions on dose? She didn't go as low this afternoon in part because she got more food at +4 and also because I gave a tiny dose for the mid-day due to lower numbers in the AM. She's shooting up again though and is up to 273 now and it will only go higher. Whatever I give her will need to hold her for the next 8 hours. I'm thinking 0.8 units. That's less than the AM dose, but I do think her numbers then were unusual and she's also eating slightly higher carb food now. I could go lower, say 0.6 units, but I don't want her in the stratosphere tomorrow either.

I was just peaking in so I'll put in my .02 .... I would give her a skinny 1u but for your peace of mind probably do the .8u. Regardless of food or what, I think she has responded well to t.i.d. in the beginning, how is she acting? And very, very nice numbers!

I grew up surfing and had friends who sailed and tried to teach me. ohmygod_smile Now surfing is complicated but sailing! trying to keep the boat level, with the waves hitting and masts and rigging to do everything, I went crazy! I think having a diabetic cat who is difficult is like sailing, keeping that boat level in good/bad weather ..... keeping our sugar baby alive and happy.

BUT today, today you are sailing in calm seas .... enjoy it!

I just posted in your other thread - I'd go with either 0.6 or 0.8u. Because of the lack of duration with the 0.4u dose for your second cycle, I'd go with 0.8u personally.
 
I tried to go in the middle and do 0.7, but to be honest that isn't easy to measure even on an U100 syringe. We'll see how she does today.
