as affectionate as ever. he knows when I say, I am gonna take a shower. he runs to the door cause he gets to go upstairs with me.. I tell him upstairs and off he scampers. he jumps on the bed and waits for his treat.
BG has been ok. trying to do a dosecrease down to .25. hoping it holds
He does get the occasional zippy pants. learned that one from Spot but he has never left his anywhere. too much class for that

ahhh my twinkie.
he keeps having bouts of sterile cystitis. we do treat with prednisilone and BA only cause of his FIV status. he gets infections so easily.
we had a bout where all of a sudden ( no sore was seen) purulent material started oozing from under his ear. vet could not find the reason but it resolved with AB
he has CKD with anemia so now he is on phos binders,azythromyacin, friskies special diet, iron, B12 shots, SQ's,and on lysine all the time. he tends to have a herpes flare up if I stop it. sometimes I supp with interferon. I must say, he looks better and acts a lot better. tries to steal food from me, waits at door when I come home from work. in the 2 years 6 months that I have had him, he was never this good. he actually mingles with the gang now and stands up for his rights

unfortunately, no change in the wheez except his wheeze is louder and can grate on your very last nerve

last august during the reunion, we noticed she was off a bit and was hiding a lot. after everyone went home, I took her to the vet. (old vet) and he did nothing.
week later took her to another vet where we found she was blind, high BP and tachycardia severe pyleonephritis and CKD. needless to say, she was started on meds, special diet and SQ. was a rough start and life was questionable. but she pulled through
last week her appy was off and she was hiding again,. urine was fine and she seemed jumpier when she was out. I thought for sure she would be leaving me by weeks end. I started her on cypr, increased SQ and put her on iron supp and B12 and she seems to be back to her normal self

I found him to have a huge abscess on his neck which I shaved and drained. vet visit and ab started. looking much better.
rest of the gang is fine. the black *****es contimue to keep me laughing. they are so funny together. even elsie mae plays with them now and then
yep, a busy life with the cats but i do enjoy it ( most times)
