These days she is always very low...By looking in Tıfıl's spreadsheet can you please tell us your opinions?
Should I shoot 0.25 at PMPS?

Tifil did earn a reduction by going below 50 on her AM cycle. I notice you've been shaving her dose down instead of reducing it by a full 0.25u. You can either reduce her down to 0.25 or just shave it down to a fat 0.25/skinny 0.5, whatever you're comfortable with.

When Jesse was at the point the first time around, I decreased in small increments.
If it was me, I would give a skinny .5u. At these small doses, even a drop makes a difference.

I completely agree with Carolyn. Even at the dose Champ is on, I still like to decrease in small amounts. It seems to help them hold the reductions better.

Ok I will go for skinny 0.5... It is really hard to find the dose with my whole marked syringes but I will give it a try. Rehearse with water :)

Hi Isil.
I am glad to see that Tifil is doing so well.
I can understandhow hard it is for you to measure the dose using whole unit markings.
The important thing is to try and be consistent. When Max was on a micro dose I too found it difficult to measure and called it "drops" rather than units.

What I did was to pull back insulin to get me to the .5 mark (in your case it would be the 1u mark). Then I would slowly twist the syringe and count out the drops until I got it to empty to see how many drops of insulin make up a measurable unit.

Lets say there were 5 drops making up the .5 u and I wanted to shoot .25u, I would release 2 or 3 drops to get me to the half dose of .25 that I wanted to shoot.
This might be an easier way for you to measure than to try and eyeball it and you should have better consistency.
I hope that helps.

Congratulations on the reduction. I count drops too, it makes these tiny doses so much easier. Just concentrate on doing it the same every time. What you call the dose doesn't really make a difference.
