He has had need of very little insulin now since the beginning of sept and probably didnt need what I did give him but I did because I am a worried mom and thought he was playing possum again, turns out so far at least he wasnt playing possum. He has been in the normal range for ferrets (90-120) the majority of the time. Eating can bring him down 70-90 points so something is going on in there!
Just had to share that with the people who helped us get to this point.
His infection at the implant site seems to finally be going down a bit, he is eating well and full of fun when he isnt doing the senior ferrets specialty of sleeping!
Its his favorite time of year, pepper picking season, he does go out to survey his crops and pick his own peppers, comes running up the stairs and inside with them to put them in his safe place (my nightstand), I am so happy to still have him in my life, he is one in a million.
