I think I take Sophia to the vet tomorrow

Sophia did not eat a thing today. She hovers on the floor and pushes and makes little wet spots that are brown. It is sad to see her not feeling well and trying so hard to push. This happenend once or twice before. I think it is best to take her and see what the vet is thinking. She is 17 1/2 with lots of problems and it will be up to dh what he wants to do. I believe she will ge over this like the other times.
 
Oh Liz...You have my heart and my prayers. Please let us know what the Vet says. Sophia : I hope you feel better very soon little one.

there was a blockage in her intestine and lots of gas but the vet said that this should not have caused her to not eat at all. He took another blood test the last one was not good/in July. We need to up to water we give her.. dh said that she is getting very expensive... we paid ove 1000 this year for her alone... but I told him.... this is probably why we were saving..........my son's college and the animals. I hope she will be eating tonight.. sofar she has not shown any interest....

Dh just says... why dragging her to the vet/// she should e able to die peacefully at home/she is his cat.You simply can't do that when she is miserable and in pain... then you have to put her to sleep and that is a decision that has to be made one day... but right now is maybe to the time..........yet...

almost 9 am today and she is still not eating. I found some droplets of blood on the floor... I guess it was from yesterday''s procedure.
 
I am sorry she still isn't feeling well. If you are feeding wet food, you can easily add lots of water to that food. For example, for each can of food I serve, I add 1 can of water. Yes, it's a lot, but if you need to up the water, it's an easy way to do that.
 
Thank you. She is still not eating. I do put water on her food but she does not like it... She drinks a lot but we have to give her fluid under her skin. Her kidneys are shutting down.

I will get the results of the bloodtests very soon... but the numbers had been bad already in July...

She was jumping up on the couch tonight so I had high hopes bu was disappointed when she did not even look at her food.
